Virtual Calling Card
Now your Kall8 service doubles as a
Virtual Calling Card. It’s quick and easy - just dial any one of the
Voice Mail access numbers and make outbound calls before, during or
after checking your voice messages. You even have the option of
using your Kall8 number as your caller ID. Calls within the
contiguous 48 States, Canada and close to 20 other countries around
the world are only 6.9¢ per minute.
Address Lookup
Turning on Address Lookup enhances the
call detail reporting tools of Kall8 by including the address of
your callers, whenever it is available for a call.* This added
information may be different than the Caller ID name and number
because telephone service subscribers may choose anything to show as
the Caller ID, whereas the address is always the information listed
on the subscriber's account.
FTP Download of Recorded Calls
Now you can download your call
recordings in bulk, rather than having to email them to yourself one
at a time. With an FTP connection to our secure network, you have
the freedom to transfer some or all of your call recordings directly
to your computer.

| Tips on
Using the Kall8 Web Site
Pop-Up Blockers
Some processes on the Kall8 web site open a new window in your
browser: These may include 'help' or information windows, or forms
requiring you to supply information such as a new telephone number
where you would like calls to your Kall8 number to ring. Certain
software, such as the Windows XP security service pack update, and
pop-up advertising blockers, may interfere with this
functionality. It is not necessary to disable these
features or programs. You may still protect your security
and guard against unwanted advertising while browsing the
Internet, and still use all the features and tools on the Kall8
web site. Here's how:
Windows XP
- In your Internet Explorer browser,
click on the Tools menu;
- Select 'Pop-Up Blocker' and click on
'Pop-Up Blocker Settings...';
- In the field 'Address of Web site to
allow:' type, www.kall8.com and click on the 'Add' button;
- In the field 'Address of Web site to
allow:' type, fusion.kallback.com and click on the 'Add'
button;
- Click on the 'Close' button.
Making the Kall8 web site and our secure
server Trusted Sites (IE Users)

Other Software
Similar to the steps outlined above
for users of the Windows XP operating system and Internet
Explorer browsers, by adding kall8.com and fusion.kallback.com
to the exceptions lists and trusted web site domains lists of
other browsers and pop-up blocker software, you will ensure
every bit of functionality while using Kall8 and not open your
browser to unwanted advertising nor compromise your safety on
the Internet.
JavaScript and Flash
The Kall8 web site also makes use of JavaScript and some small
Flash animations. For optimal use of the Kall8 web site and
service, be sure your web browser supports these features, and
that you have the latest versions of the
Flash media
player and
Shockwave
plugin for Flash installed on your computer. |
